The following kashrus notice is from the OU on January 11, 2005. Swiss Premium Dark Chocolate is certified as OU-D but the dairy designation has been inadvertently omitted. Future packaging will be revised. Consumers spotting this product are requested to contact the Orthodox Union at 212-613-8148 or via email at kashalerts@ou.org.

The following kashrus alert is from the OK dated December 3, 2004. Please be advised that OK Kosher does NOT certify Trader Joe's "Challah" Braided Egg Bread. This product is labeled with an unauthorized OK symbol.

The mis-labeled products were in the West Coast Trader Joes. They are certified as kosher by Rabbi Josef Germaine, Congregation Beth Jacob (Conservative) East Coast Challahs are certified by the Vaad of Montreal when bearing the MK. Mid-West Challahs are certified as kosher, pareve, Pas Yisroel by the cRc when bearing the cRc

The following kashrus notice is from a newspaper advertisement dated January 7, 2005. Estihana Restaurant, 21 W. 79th st., NY,NY has switched certification from the Kof-K to the Vaad of Flatbush.

The following kashrus alert was from the cRc dated January, 2005. Please be aware that the "D" was inadvertently omitted from the label of several varieties of Freshens Frozen Yogurt and Smoothie Mix. The product is certified cRc - Dairy.
